Making diversity matter for good.
What They Say.

Our organization has been striving to become a better version of itself in terms of diversity, equity and inclusion. We hired Michelle to help us take the next big jump in that discussion and she couldn’t have been more successful. Michelle not only brought her existing expertise to the table, but she sat down with us in advance and listened to where we had been going, the specific conversations our organization had been having, and where we were looking to go. She was able to weave themes we’d been discussing into a cohesive and thoughtful presentation that was thought provoking and impactful (people legitimately cried). The hallways continue to be filled with conversations about Michelle’s presentation, and more and more people are coming forward with new and innovative ideas about how to keep the conversation going and what to do next. We can’t thank Michelle enough!

"We wanted impact. We wanted lived experiences. We wanted no judgement. We got one of the most powerful and engaging speakers to talk to us about bias, who drove people to go and take action and inspired them beyond anything they could have imagined."

"Our firm worked with Michelle Silverthorn in coordination with an all attorney Diversity Retreat. Michelle delivered information on implicit bias, microaggressions, and allyship through storytelling, helping to educate audiences of different backgrounds and knowledge on diversity issues. The program wove together personal narrative and the real world impact of lack of inclusion and belonging in both the workplace and larger society. Feedback from our audience continues to be positive, and for many individuals Michelle’s presentation resonated in a way that other diversity trainings have not. Moreover, our team found it easy to collaborate with Michelle's team and enjoyed the process."

"Michelle is incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, and creative in her approach to delivering content. Even in a webinar format, she found engaging ways to tap into our audience's experiences.

"Michelle is one of the most compelling DEI educators I have ever experienced, and her words have had a powerful and enduring impact on my life. She is a gifted storyteller who has a unique way of personalizing her own experiences and those of marginalized people, and it leads to greater empathy and compassion in her audience. She is truly one of a kind, and her program will change the hearts and minds of any organization that is lucky enough to have her."

I can only imagine how great Michelle would be in person because even her virtual presence had a resounding impact on our employees. The internal chatter was lighting up our devices as her passion spread throughout our home offices. The content she shared was relevant and relatable. The delivery was fast-paced and anecdotal. The messaging was straightforward but tactful ... And although the topics of racial injustice and inequality are serious and sensitive, Michelle somehow left us uplifted. She was clear that a lot of work still needs to be done, but she gave us a vision of where we can begin.

"I enjoyed the videos and examples. Most importantly, I enjoyed Michelle's WHY story at the end. Bravo, job well done with this program. Enjoyed the 5 principles of inclusion, the difference between you and the company and what it means."
